CONNECT

Start a user session.

Syntax:

   CONNECT username [AS {SYSDBA|SYSOPER}]

   CONNECT username/password [AS {SYSDBA|SYSOPER}]

   CONNECT username/password@sid [AS {SYSDBA|SYSOPER}]


options:
   username   An Oracle User
   sid        Database System ID

In Oracle versions up to 8i 'INTERNAL' is a synonym for 'sys AS SYSDBA'
